Structural design of the Fluvial Restoration Project of the Mèder and Gurri rivers in the urban area of Vic

As part of the fluvial restoration of the Mèder and Gurri rivers, a fish ramp has been designed at the weir located at the level of the Adoberies area in Vic. The ramp is situated on the weir that lies within the riverbed of the Mèder River as it passes through the Adoberies district and the Queralt Bridge. This weir is constructed of stone and concrete. In order to overcome this elevation difference, a reinforced concrete ramp is proposed, which will run mostly downstream of the weir. The ramp must withstand the hydrodynamic forces generated by the potential flood events considered.
